Andrew Davis is an independent wealth advisor with WealthSource Partners in Thousand Oaks, California.  Andrew began his career working at two investment management firms located in Chicago where he spent over eight years helping high-net-worth individuals and financial advisors at brokerage and investment advisory firms.  During his tenure at those firms, Andrew came to understand the value of academic research in investment management, something he continues to value today. After realizing that individual investors could benefit from his knowledge and experience, he became a financial advisor in 2014 and as part of his process, he creates financial plans to illustrate the possible outcomes and identify a path to success.  He believes investors have the potential to benefit if they design a portfolio based on science and academic research, free from emotion.

Andrew is originally from Seattle, WA before heading to college in Arizona where he graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2002 from the school of business with a BS in Marketing. Andrew also competed on the Men’s Golf Team at Grand Canyon University and was named to the 2002 Academic All-American Team. Andrew is a member of the Board of Directors at the Young Investors Society (YIS). YIS is dedicated to preparing the next generation of investors. Its goal: to encourage young people and give them the tools they need to become outstanding long-term investors, investors in companies, investors in their communities and investors in themselves. YIS programs promote financial literacy, teach sound investment fundamentals and provide leadership and investment management experience for high school aged youth.
